Switches and the governing bodies located on a steering column and a steering wheel
Left podrulevy switch
Left podrulevy the switch is intended for switching of modes of functioning of external lighting devices, activation of illumination of devices, the alarm system by a driving beam and managements of functioning of indexes of turns.
The choice of modes of functioning of external lighting devices and activation of illumination of devices is carried out by means of the rotary handle on the end of the lever of the switch. The handle has three fixed situation:
OFF — External lighting devices and illumination of the dashboard are switched off.
— Running fires in a mode of dimensions (marker lights, plus illumination of registration plate) and illumination of devices are activated.
— Running fires in a mode near/distant (depending on position of the lever of the switch) light (marker lights, a passing/driving beam of headlights, plus illumination of registration plate) and illumination of devices are activated.
For activation of a driving beam it is necessary to wring out the switch lever from itself before click, - on a combination of devices the corresponding light indicator (should light up see. Section Combination of devices, measuring instruments, control lamps and light indicators).
The alarm system is made by a driving beam of headlights by lever procrastination on itself and can be made in any position of the trailer rotary handle, - at an otpuskaniye the lever automatically comes back to a starting position.
Activation of the corresponding indexes of turns is made by a lever otzhimaniye before click up or down in the plane of a steering wheel, - serviceability of activation proves to be true operation in a flashing mode corresponding of two devices of green light indicators built in a combination (see. Section Combination of devices, measuring instruments, control lamps and light indicators). Shutdown of indexes (with a lever vyshchelkivaniye in neutral situation) is made automatically at return of a steering wheel to rectilinear situation, and can be in case of need duplicated by a way of a compulsory otzhimaniye of the switch. There is also a possibility of short-term activation of indexes by a lung (without overcoming of a point of resistance) a switch otzhimaniye in the corresponding direction that is very convenient, for example, at evolution in the next row on a multiband marking, - at a lever otpuskaniye it automatically comes back to starting (neutral) position.

In order to avoid damage of the driving mechanism it is not necessary to include screen wipers, at a dry surface of glass, it is not necessary to move also brushes hands. Do not allow hit on rubber working elements of screen wipers of gasoline and other solvents. Start of screen wipers is possible only at the included ignition. Moving of the lever of the switch up and down in the plane of a steering wheel allows to choose modes of functioning of screen wipers:
OFF — In this (top) position of the switch screen wipers are switched off.
INT — the position of the switch Second from above corresponds to an interval mode of functioning of screen wipers.
1 — In the third from above position of the switch screen wipers pass to a constant mode of functioning with normal rate of waves.
2 — the Bottom position of the switch serves for start of screen wipers in a high-speed mode.
Adjustment of duration of pauses at work of screen wipers in an interval mode is made by means of the ring switch planted on an average part of the handle of the lever switch: situation S corresponds to the maximum duration of pauses, F - minimum.
Single operation of screen wipers can be made by a way of an otzhimaniye of the lever switch from itself.

This function is activated only in the position OFF of the switch. At lever deduction in the wrung-out situation screen wipers will work in a continuous mode. |
For giving on glass of washing liquid it is necessary to delay the switch lever on itself. Thus, if the switch is in the situation OFF, at the same time with supply of liquid the screen wipers which functioning will stop later 2-3 more waves after a lever otpuskaniye will be activated.

Use темпостата at intense movement (for example, in the city), on slippery and twisting roads, and also in other road situations interfaced to need of frequent change of a high-speed mode, can lead to control loss over driving! |

In order to avoid casual start темпостата do not forget to make its deactivation from the main switch! |
Tempostat is intended for maintenance of constant cruiser speed of movement of the car (after dispersal of the last till the speed not lower than 40 km/h) without necessity of foot keeping on a gas pedal.
Governing bodies functioning темпостата settle down on the right on a steering wheel, and also under a combination of devices, to the right of a steering column.

For activation темпостата press on located on the dashboard to the right of a steering wheel the button of the main switch of system. Disperse the car till demanded speed (not less than 40 km/h) and press the SET/CST button which is located in an average part of the panel of operating switches темпостата on the right on a steering wheel. Release the button and at the same time clean a foot from a gas pedal, - the chosen cruiser speed of movement will be automatically supported, - in the left section of a combination of devices the corresponding control lamp (should be activated see. Section Combination of devices, measuring instruments, control lamps and light indicators).

The choice and installation of cruiser speed of movement cannot be made earlier, than 2 seconds later from the moment of pressing the main switch темпостата. At car movement uphill and under a bias the actual speed of movement can deviate the chosen cruiser value a little. |
Deactivation of function of maintenance of the chosen cruiser speed can be made by one of the next ways:
Press a brake pedal;
Squeeze out a coupling pedal (models with RKPP) / transfer the AT selector lever to the situation "N" (on models from AT);
Press the CANCEL button, in the lower part of the panel of operating switches on the right on a steering wheel.
For return to chosen earlier cruiser high-speed mode press the top button of the panel of managing directors of switches (RES/ACC) on a steering wheel.

The call from memory of system of the value of cruiser speed brought in it can be carried out only provided that at deactivation of function of maintenance of a high-speed mode speed of movement of the car did not fall/rose more than by 15 km/h above/below the kept value, otherwise procedure of a choice and installation should be repeated. Dumping of the kept value occurs also at car delay till the speed below limiting for activation темпостата (40 km/h). |
Change of value of the chosen cruiser speed of movement can be made by a keeping way in the pressed situation the RES/ACC buttons (acceleration) or SET/COAST (delay).

Short pressing the same buttons allow to correct the chosen cruiser high-speed mode with a step in 1.6 km/h. The chosen new cruiser speed is brought in memory of system, replacing with itself the previous value. |
Temporary acceleration or car delay at activated темпостате can be made by means of gas and brake pedals respectively, - the last current value of cruiser speed remains kept in memory of system and will be caused at return to an active mode, see above remark concerning restrictions on preservation in memory темпостата the chosen value of cruiser speed of movement.
Complete deactivation темпостата (with memory cleaning) is made by means of the main switch, - the control lamp on a combination of devices should go out, - or by ignition switching off.
Horn switch
The button of inclusion of a horn is built in a stupichny part of a steering wheel, - for activation of a sound signal press on one or the other images of a horn on the parties from the KIA logo on a steering wheel.
Adjustment of an inclination of a steering column
The steering column should be adjusted so that the nave of a steering wheel was opposite to a thorax of the driver. Situation at which the nave of a steering wheel is opposite to a face of the driver, is wrong as reduces protective functions of the safety cushion built in in it.

Switch ignition/lock of blocking of a steering wheel
The switch the blocking ignition/lock the helmsman of a column is located on the right on a steering column and can be in one of the following four fixed provisions:
LOCK — the Ignition key can be entered into the lock or is taken from it only in this situation. At an ignition key povorachivaniye from the situation LOCK in the situation ACC there is a removal of blocking of a steering column. To turn a key from the situation ACC in the situation LOCK it is necessary to press slightly previously it, having a little drowned in the lock, on models from AT it is necessary to transfer the selector lever to the situation "R" previously also.

Blocking the helmsman of a column is carried out automatically in attempt to turn a steering wheel after key extraction from the ignition lock.

Blocking the helmsman of a column sometimes brings impossibility to turn a key in the ignition lock. In such situation it is necessary to pull slightly a steering wheel for the purpose of loading removal, at the same time turning a key in the lock. |
|
|
Blocking of a steering wheel at all should not be considered as alternative of raising of the parking brake! At all do not take a key from the ignition lock during movement, is will inevitably lead to blocking of a steering column and control loss over management! |
ACC — In this position of the ignition key is provided possibility of functioning of auxiliary consumers of the electric power (an audiosystem, the lighter, the heater fan, screen wipers etc.).
ON — In this situation the ignition key is constantly during car movement, and also at operation of the engine on single turns. An electric food of all systems and the additional equipment established on the car is at the same time provided. At key turn from the situation ACC the situation ON quickly joins some from the devices of control lamps built in in a combination (see. Section Combination of devices, measuring instruments, control lamps and light indicators). On models of the corresponding complete set the key povorachivaniye in the situation ON leads to automatic activation of running fires of light time of day (DRL).

Do not leave the ignition key in the situation ON at the switched-off engine since thus there is a fast discharge of the battery. |
START — In this position of the lock occurs starter activation. After implementation of start of the engine the key should be released, - it should return to the situation ON automatically. If the car is equipped with immobilization system, start of the engine will be blocked, if the anticreeping system does not identify a key code.

The governing bodies located in the left part of the dashboard
Two groups of switches located on the right and to the left of a steering column are located on models of a standard complete set in the left part of the dashboard.
Into structure of a right-wing group enter the main switch темпостата, the switch of management of functioning back screen wiper/supply of liquid of washing of back glass, and also (on models of the corresponding complete set) the switch of activation/deactivation of a sports mode (POWER) of AT.
To the left of a column the shtyrkovo-rotor switch of adjustment of provision of door rear-view mirrors, and also a regulator of intensity of illumination of devices are located.

For start of a cleaner of back glass press the bottom section of the corresponding switch of a right-wing group, - the top section of the same switch serves for giving activation on glass of washing liquid. |

Activation of a sports mode (POWER) of AT on models of the corresponding complete set is represented possible only in positions "D", "2" or "L" of the lever of the selector, and in the last two cases any changes in the scheme of gear shifting are not brought. By pressing the corresponding button of a right-wing group of switches in the left sector of a combination of devices the control lamp of POWER (is activated see. Section Combination of devices, measuring instruments, control lamps and light indicators). At activation of a sports mode (the control lamp burns, the lever of the AT selector is in situation "D") transmission switching towards increase of transfers is made with a delay, i.e. at higher turns of the engine. Kickdown mode activation in a sports mode (during the overtaking or movement uphill) demands smaller effort of pressing to a gas pedal, than in a mode of normal functioning (ESO) of AT. |

The switch of adjustment of provision of door rear-view mirrors has a shtyrkovo-rotor design. The choice of a mirror (R/L) subject to adjustment is carried out by means of the shtyrkovy switch which has been built in in the central part of a rotor regulator of management of functioning of electric drives of mirrors. For correction of provision of the chosen mirror press on marked with shooters of the corresponding direction, sector of an operating 4-item rotor regulator. |

At regulator deduction in the pressed situation the mirror ceases to move on reaching it extreme situation, however the driving electromotor continues to rotate thus, - in order to avoid electromotor damage as a result of overloads it is not necessary to hold a regulator pressed more long, than it is necessary for completion of demanded adjustment. |
Governing bodies and the salon equipment on the central console
On the central console of the car there is the greatest number of governing bodies and the salon equipment.
It is possible to carry switches and the regulators located on forward section of the console, and also the lever of raising of the parking brake, the gear shifting lever to governing bodies (to model with RKPP) / the lever of the selector of AT modes (model with AT), and also the lever of switching of modes of a transfer case. The description only switches and the regulators located on a forward part of the console below is provided. Appointment and the description of levers is given in the Part Receptions of operation and auxiliary systems.
Chashkoderzhatel belong to number of elements of the equipment of salon, hours, ashtrays and the lighter a ware box.
The ware boxes which have been built in a curbstone of the central console

On some models the central console is equipped with a ware box without a cover. The description provided below does not belong to such models. |
In assembly of a console curbstone of the central console two ware boxes are equipped. One box is located in a curbstone under the folding cover, the second - sliding - is built in directly to a cover.

For access to the first ware box, pull the lamellar lever under a cover from its forward party and cast away the last up. |
|
|
The second, smaller volume, the box is put forward by shift back back section of the top half of a cover of the first box. |
|
|

Lighter

The lighter is built in in the lower part of forward section of the central console to the right of a forward ashtray and functions only at the included ignition (a key in the situation ON or ASS). |
For lighter activation simply drown its button in a reception nest against the stop, - after a warming up of a heating element the button will automatically jump out in a starting position.

|
At all do not hold the lighter button in the pressed situation by force! If the lighter button after pressing does not return to a starting position more than 30 seconds later, it is necessary to liberate it from a nest manually, having hooked the suitable tool. After use do not forget to return the button in a nest in order to avoid a contamination of the last. The reception nest of the lighter can be used for connection of external consumers of the electric power (the pump, the charger for a radio telephone, the vacuum cleaner), calculated on a food in 12 In and with consumption capacity no more than 120 W. |
Ashtrays

The forward ashtray is located to the left of the lighter, back is built in in a back wall of a curbstone of the central console directly under a back chashkoderzhatel. |

Switch of the alarm system

Turning on of the alarm system is made by means of the push-button switch which has been built in in console section of the dashboard of the car directly over the control panel by functioning of systems of heating and ventilation of salon, and usually equipped with the built-in light indicator with the pictogram representing two triangles entered each other. |
Activation of the alarm system can be made in any position of the lock of ignition and leads to simultaneous operation of all four indexes of turns (and their light indicators in a combination of devices). The alarm system is intended for the prevention of participants of traffic of the compelled stop of the car, and also should be used in other provided traffic regulations situations.
For shutdown of the alarm system press the button repeatedly, - the built-in light indicator долежн to go out.
Switch of heating of back glass
Inclusion of electroheating allows to remove from a surface of back glass of condensate, hoarfrost, and even thin fly. The button of inclusion of electroheating is located on console section of the dashboard, to the right of the button of turning on of the alarm system. At activation of heating the light indicator (lights up built in a combination of devices see. Section Combination of devices, measuring instruments, control lamps and light indicators).
Shutdown of heating is made by repeated pressing the button, or automatically, about 15 minutes later after activation on a signal of the special timer, - the light indicator should go out.

Functioning of a heating element becomes possible only in the position ON of the switch of ignition, - at transfer of a key to situation ASS or LOCK heating is disconnected. |
Do not forget to check before a start of motion quality of the review through back glass of the car.
The threadlike grid of a heating element of a heater is pasted on an internal surface of back glass and demands care in the address, - try not to damage a grid when wiping glass. Wiping should be made only along heater threads.
Switch of the conditioner of air
The To/in switch also is a part of group of console switches, is located to the right of the switch of heating of back glass, is designated by the pictogram with the image of a snowflake and equipped with the built-in light indicator. The description of principles of functioning of To/in system is provided in the Part of the Device of ensuring comfort.
Switch of a mode of air circulation
The switch of a mode of air circulation is last of switches of console group, is located in its right part, to the left of hours and is designated by the pictogram. The description of principles of functioning of system of ventilation of salon is provided in the Part of the Device of ensuring comfort.

Hours are not established, if the car is equipped with an audiosystem, in this case hours are built in an audiosystem. |
The digital chronometer is located in the right top corner of console section of the dashboard. In the positions ON and ACC of the lock of ignition of the button, the indication of a chronometer can be modified by means of built in the right part of the display of buttons:
«H» — the Button of updating of indications of hours (scrolling forward).
«M» — the Button of updating of indications of minutes (scrolling forward).
«:00» — the Button of zeroing of indications of minutes (with a rounding off in the relevant party depending on the current indication of minutes: N: [00 ÷ 29]

Sun-protection peaks
Sun-protection peaks provide protection of eyes of the driver / the forward passenger from dazzle by direct sunshine. Peaks are fixed on arms of the rotary design allowing in case of need to develop them parallel to lateral glasses of the car (previously liberate an arm from a clamp).

From the back party of a driver's peak the pocket for storage of documents is provided, in a passenger sun-protection peak (also from the back party) the makiyazhny pocket mirror equipped with a movable shtorka is built in. Internal rear-view mirror

Main salonny lamp

The Salonny lamp is built in in the central part of a ceiling upholstery and equipped with three push-button switches, allowing to choose a mode of its functioning. |
OFF — the Lamp is switched constantly off.
DOOR — the Lamp is activated when opening doors.
ON — the Lamp is constantly included.
Back salonny lamp
The back lamp is established on the Versatile person models and serves for illumination of a luggage compartment. The on-off switch of a choice of a mode of its functioning is built in the case of the lamp:
OFF — the Lamp is switched constantly off.
ON — the Lamp is activated when opening a door of a back.
Switches of management of functioning of the electric drive of window regulators

For the purpose of prevention of failure of the electric drive / its protective safety lock it is not necessary to carry out a drive more than two glasses at the same time! |
The electric drive of window regulators enters into a standard complete set of all models considered in the real Management.
Functioning of window regulators becomes possible only at the included ignition.
On an armrest of each of doors of the car the individual switch intended for management of functioning of the electric drive of a window regulator of this door is located. The drive (lowering / поднимание) glasses is carried out by pressing/procrastination of the keyboard switch.

The main panel of switches of management is located on an armrest of a driver's door with functioning by the electric drive of window regulators of all doors of the car. The principle of using switches is similar described above for individual door switches. Besides four/two (depending on quantity of doors) operating switches the structure of the main panel includes the keyboard switch, allowing to carry out blocking of a drive of window regulators of passenger doors from individual switches, - for activation of blocking press the left part of a key. |
Ware boxes, pockets, coin box
