Suspension bracket

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Press down a car front, - if forward shock-absorbers are serviceable, at an otpuskaniye the body should return to a starting position without rocking. Similarly estimate a condition of back shock-absorbers. Pay also attention to existence of scratches, a gnash and the other extraneous sounds published at rocking of a body. Hang out the car over the earth and attentively check shock-absorbers and screw springs on existence of deformations, cracks, chips and other mechanical damages. Make sure of lack of signs of development of leakages of shock-absorbers. Estimate reliability of a tightening of carving fixture of cross-section levers of a forward suspension bracket. Examine levers and suspension bracket bars on existence of signs of mechanical damages. Check a condition of all rubber plugs (levers, stabilizer racks, a jet bar) and boots of spherical support and hinges.

Steering drive

Do not hold a steering wheel at the working engine in extreme provisions within more than 15 seconds!


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Hang out the car over the earth and visually estimate a condition of drafts and levers of a steering trapeze. Make sure of absence люфтов and reliability of a tightening of carving fixture. Check a condition of rubber plugs and boots of tips of steering drafts.
    Having pulled a steering wheel in the various directions, make sure of absence axial and lateral люфтов a steering column. In case of need estimate degree of wear of the bearing and the hinge of a steering shaft. Replace defective components.
    Develop forward wheels of the car in rectilinear situation and slightly turning a steering wheel to the right-to the left, estimate size of its free wheeling. If the result of measurement falls outside the limits an admissible range (5 ÷ 30 mm), attentively study a condition of all sharnirny knots of a steering drive, also check, whether increased excessively люфт gearings of the steering mechanism. Replace defective components.
    Tire out the car on an equal horizontal platform with a firm covering and develop it forward wheels in rectilinear situation. At the working engine several times turn a steering wheel from an emphasis against the stop for the purpose of warming up of working liquid of system of hydrostrengthening (normal working temperature of hydraulic liquid makes 50 ÷ 60 °C).
    Having left the engine working at single turns, pick up a dynamometer by the external end of a spoke of a steering wheel and measure effort of resistance of the last to rotation. If the result of measurement exceeds limiting admissible value (33 N), check level of hydraulic liquid in the tank of the steering pump (see. Head the Current leaving and service), examine the line of a hydraulic path on existence of signs of development of leaks, make sure of serviceability of functioning of the pump GUR and the steering mechanism, estimate correctness of a tension of a driving belt and check pressure of a rating of tires. Make necessary corrections. By "prokachivaniye" remove air from a hydraulic path of GUR (see. The section Removal and installation of components of assembly of the back bridge), in case of need make verification of the pressure head characteristic of the steering pump (see. Section Removal, check and installation of shock-absorbers and screw springs).
