 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Hang out the car over the earth. Merge from a differential case oil (see. Head Current leaving and service). Disconnect from assembly of the forward bridge the driveshaft (see. Part Driveshafts).
    Before releasing a nut of fastening of a connecting flange, measure starting effort of a provorachivaniye of differential and size люфта gearings of the leader and the main transfer conducted gear wheels, - results of measurements write down.
    By means of the special adaptation holding a flange from a provorachivaniye, release a fixing nut.
    By means of a stripper dismantle a flange, then, having hooked a screw-driver, take an old epiploon.
    Grease a new epiploon used for differential filling by oil and by means of a suitable opravka press it in a reception nest of a case of differential.
    Establish into place a flange and tighten a nut of its fastening with the effort providing demanded starting effort of the provorachivaniye of differential. Connect the driveshaft (see. A part Driveshafts), then make differential filling by oil (see. Head Current leaving and service).

Power shafts

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Visually estimate a condition of boots of hinges of both power shafts. Compressing boots, make sure of lack of cracks, cuts and signs of aging of a material. Estimate reliability of fixing of boots fixing collars (bandage tapes). Examine shaft on existence of signs of obvious deformations.
    Having pulled each shaft in the vertical and horizontal directions, make sure of lack of signs of weakening of their landing.

    Make sure of serviceability of operation of the alarm indicator of inclusion of an all-wheel drive mode (see. Head Governing bodies and operation receptions). Estimate the general condition of tubes and hoses of a vacuum path, make sure of reliability of their fixing on unions of sockets.

    Disconnect a vacuum hose from the union on a rotary fist and by means of the manual vacuum pump create on the union depression by depth about 550 mm of mercury. If depression is kept by assembly within less than 1 minute, replace the coupling of a free wheeling, previously having made sure that the landing layer of hermetic on its interfaced surface is not destroyed.

    Lift and tie up a support of the brake mechanism (see. Head Brake system), remove the coupling of a free wheeling (see. The section Removal, service and installation of components of assemblies of forward and back bridges) and by means of a measuring instrument of plunzherny type (DTI) measure size of lateral palpation of a brake disk on a circle remote from the center of a nave on 12 mm.
    In case of need adjust a pretightness, or dismantle a nave and replace bearings (see. Section Removal, service and installation of components of assemblies of forward and back bridges).
