Power supply system checks

Before starting to performance of any repair and regenerative procedures, familiarize with the list obligatory at service of power supply systems of internal combustion engines of precautionary measures (see. The section of the Security measure and the general rules accepted at service of components of fuel paths of internal combustion engines).

At identification of signs of violation of serviceability of functioning of system of injection of fuel, first of all check reliability of a tightening of all shtutserny connections of a path of a power supply system. Make sure that a cause of infringement is not the elementary neglect to performance of procedures of regular service, - visually estimate a condition of an air purifier and the fuel filter, make measurement of working gaps of valves, kompressionny pressure in cylinders, etc. Make sure of passableness of hoses of system of ventilation of a case (PCV).

If after carrying out listed above checks to reveal a cause of infringement it is not possible, drive away the car on HUNDRED pains for carrying out detailed diagnostics, - in the left back corner of an impellent compartment there is a diagnostic DLC socket equipped with a protective cover for connection of the special scanner by means of which reading of codes of the malfunctions (DTC) revealed by system of onboard self-diagnostics and brought in memory of the processor of the module of management is made.

Alternatively reading of the DTC codes can be made by means of the personal computer equipped with a special payment with the established software, - for computer connection to the DLC socket the special cable is used. By reading of codes the operator can easily reveal even the hidden refusals.

Remember that any nonprofessional intervention in the device of a control system is interfaced by the engine to risk of irreversible failure of electronic components!

Check of turns of idling

The description of procedure of check of turns of idling is provided in the Section Check of turns of idling of Head the Current leaving and service. In case of need make the corresponding adjustment (see. Section Adjustment of turns of idling).

Check of serviceability of functioning of the sensor detector of a sediment of the fuel filter

TNVD checks

Check of installation of phases of a gazoraspredeleniye (injection moments)

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Turn the engine in the normal direction so that the label «11 °» (11 ° after VMT) on a pulley of a cranked shaft was combined by ATDC with the basic index.
  1. Disconnect топливопроводы nozzles from TNVD.
  1. Remove from TNVD a cap of a hydraulic head and establish on its place a special tsiferblatny measuring instrument so that its plunzher rested against an end face of a plunzher of pump assembly.
  1. Consider the measuring instrument indication, - the demanded result makes about 2.0 mm.
  1. Carefully turning a pulley of a cranked shaft in the direction counter-clockwise, achieve stabilization of indications of a measuring instrument (about 30 ÷ 35 degrees).
  1. Null a measuring instrument and slightly turning a pulley to the right-to the left, make sure of stability of its zero indication in an insignificant angular range.
  1. Turning a pulley in the direction of normal rotation (clockwise), achieve initial combination of adjusting labels, - at the correct installation of the moments of injection the measuring instrument should fix the indication of 1 ± 0.2 mm. In case of need make the corresponding adjustment (see. Section Adjustment of installation of phases of a gazoraspredeleniye (injection moments)).

Check of height of a working ledge of a cam of the device of adjustment of phases of a gazoraspredeleniye

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Execute check of installation of phases of a gazoraspredeleniye.
  2. Rotating a cranked shaft in the normal direction (clockwise), consider the maximum indication of a tsiferblatny measuring instrument.
  3. If the result of measurement makes less than 2.2 mm, replace an ekstsentrikovy disk, or roller assembly.

Check of serviceability of functioning of the locking valve (FCV) of a power supply system

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Serviceability of functioning of the locking valve of a power supply system (the valve of an otsechka of fuel) proves to be true stability of turns of the working engine and its non-failure operation останова at a detachment from the electroconducting valve.

  1. Measure resistance between plugs H and the I socket. If the result of measurement differs from demanded value (0.6 Ohm at 23 ° C), make sure available conductivity between the plug H of a regulator and plugs No. 2 and No. of 15 ECM, and also between the plug I of a regulator and plugs No. 1 and No. of 14 ECM. If conductivity takes place, replace a regulator, otherwise execute regenerative repair of the corresponding electroconducting.

Check of the valve of management by distribution of the moments of injection (TCV)

  1. Disconnect from TNVD electroconducting of TCV and by means of an ohmmeter measure resistance between plugs K and the L contact socket. If the result of measurement differs from demanded value (11 ± 1.1 Ohm at 20 ° C), make sure available conductivity between the plug K and the No. plug of 13 ECM. If conductivity takes place, replace the valve, otherwise execute regenerative repair of the corresponding electroconducting.

Check of the sensor of position of the distributive piston (TPS)

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect from the sensor electroconducting and check correctness of distribution of resistance between its central and alarm plugs (A-c) and (A-in). Demanded value in both cases makes 82 ± 2 Ohm at 25 ° S.Pri negative result of check make sure available conductivity between plugs of the TPS socket and the corresponding ECM plugs (S-46, V-53 and A-52). In case of need make regenerative repair of the corresponding electroconducting, or replace the sensor.

  1. The socket of the Np sensor is located directly over the TPS socket. Measure resistance between the alarm plug of the sensor (C) and the plug of its grounding (In). If the result of measurement differs from demanded value (1.62 ± 0.16 Ohm at 20 ° C), make sure available conductivity between plugs B and C of the sensor and plugs No. 38 and No. 30 respectively the module of engine management (ECM). In case of need repair electroconducting, or replace the sensor.

  1. Check resistance between plugs of the magnetic valve. Demanded value makes 8 ± 1.2 Ohm at 23 ° Page.
  1. Make sure available conductivity between the case of the magnetic valve (-) and the plug From an electronic regulator (GE).

Check and adjustment of the sensor of provision of a pedal of gas

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Start the engine and warm up it to normal working temperature.
  2. Measure tension between sensor plugs C and E on single turns and on full gas. In the first case the result of measurement should make 0.3 ÷ 1.1 In, in the second: 3.68 ÷ 5.0 Century.
  3. In case of need make the corresponding adjustment for what disconnect from the sensor electroconducting and shchupy lezviyny type measure gap size between the lever and an emphasis, - demanded value makes 0.45 mm.
  4. At negative result of the last measurement check conductivity of the sensor, - it should take place, otherwise release clamping the screw and make the corresponding adjustment.

Checks of nozzles

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove nozzles (see. Section Removal and installation of nozzles).
  2. Checks are made with application of diesel fuel with order temperature 20°С.

Check of starting pressure of opening of a nozzle

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Connect a nozzle to a special tester.
  1. Working with the pump handle of a tester, remove from a nozzle air.
  1. Slowly lowering the handle of a tester consider indications of the manometer connected to the pump, - the indication should be read out at the moment of the emission beginning from a fuel nozzle. If the result of measurement differs from demanded value (150 kgfs/cm2), make correction of the moment of the beginning of injection by selection of an adjusting washer (1), - washers are issued in 27 options in a range of thickness from 0.50 mm to 1.54 mm with a step of 0.04 mm. The additive in 0.04 mm provides increase in pressure of injection approximately on 4.8 kgfs/cm2.

Check of tightness of landing of a saddle of the working valve

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check also is made on a special tester.
  1. Create in a nozzle pressure in 115 kgfs/cm2 and make sure of absence of leaks through a nozzle. In case of need disassemble a nozzle (see. The section Removal and installation of nozzles) for nozzle washing, or make its replacement.

Check of the direction of injection and эпюры dispersions

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Connect a nozzle to a tester and remove from it air.
  2. Disconnect (muffle) a manometer and several times sharply lower the pump handle of a tester, visually defining the direction of emission and a configuration of a stream of the fuel which is pushed out through a nozzle of a nozzle.

To lower the pump handle follows with the greatest possible speed, - the nozzle should publish a characteristic whistling sound.


  1. Fuel should be sprayed by a nozzle evenly with a narrow corner of disclosure and in strictly coaxially axis of a nozzle.

Check of the executive mechanism of a turbokompressor

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect from the executive mechanism of a turbokompressor air шлаг and connect instead of it the pump equipped with a manometer.
    Check of serviceability of functioning of the executive mechanism of a turbokompressor, - the rod (1) should move smoothly
  1. Create in the diafragmenny case of the executive mechanism pressure of 760 ÷ 800 mm of mercury. and by means of a tsiferblatny measuring instrument of plunzherny type (DTI) measure size of a course of an executive rod, - demanded value makes 1.5 mm. At negative result of check replace assembly of the executive mechanism.

Giving on the executive mechanism of excessive pressure can lead to a diaphragm exit out of operation!

Check of an intermediate cooler of air of pressurization (Intercooler)

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Visually examine the heat exchanger of an interkuler, checking it on existence of cracks, deformations and other mechanical damages.
  2. Check tightness of the heat exchanger, having submitted to it air with superfluous pressure in 1 kgf/cm2.
