Removal and installation

|
Details of installation of a cable drum are shown on an illustration
of the Detail of installation of the module of a driver's face-to-face safety cushion.
Establish forward wheels in rectilinear situation.
Make sure that forward wheels of the car are given in rectilinear situation.
Remove the module of a driver's face-to-face safety cushion (see. Section Removal and installation of the module of a driver's safety cushion).
Release a nut of fastening of a steering wheel.
Mark the provision of a wheel of rather steering shaft.
By means of a special stripper dismantle a steering wheel.
Turn out three fixing screws and dismantle a contact cable drum together with the combined podrulevy switch.
Installation is made upside-down, - before final installation of a steering wheel and the module of a safety cushion do not forget to adjust a cable drum.

Adjustment

At adjustment of a contact cable drum the special pin which is delivered complete with the new podrulevy switch is used, - at installation of the original switch it is necessary to prepare replacement to an adjusting pin. |

Temporarily establish a steering wheel and deduce forward wheels of the car in rectilinear situation. Remove a wheel.
Against the stop develop a cable drum clockwise.
|
|
Return a drum back on 2.75 a turn, - strelochny indexes on a plate of a drum and its casing should be combined.
|
Establish a steering wheel, - track correctness of combination of the landing labels put in the course of dismantle.
