Removal and installation of the lever of switching of modes of a transfer case

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Turn out two fixing screws, cock the lever of the parking brake and remove back section of the central console. Release lock-nuts and remove handles of levers of switching of the AT RKPP/selector and a transfer case. Turn out three fixing screws, and remove forward section of the central console. Release fixing a nut/bolt, remove a fixing plate and dismantle a boot (and) the lever of switching of modes of a transfer case and the lever of switching of RKPP (on models of the corresponding complete set).
    Turn out fixing bolts and remove the lever (1) switching of a transfer case. Take aside the clamp of electroconducting planted on a forward bolt and remove the back console.
    Examine the lever on existence of signs of wear of mobile components, deformations and other mechanical damages. Check a condition of a spring and a sealing element. Visually estimate degree of wear of visible elements of a drive of switching of a transfer case. Defective components replace. Grease a landing surface of a plate of the basis of the lever with silicone hermetic and get lever assembly on the regular place, - do not forget to plant on a forward bolt a clamp of a plait of electroconducting. Further installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components, - track observance of requirements of Specifications of Head the Transmission line to efforts of a tightening of carving fixture.
