Removal and engine installation

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
  2. At the corresponding complete set remove protection of a case of engine/transmission.
  3. Empty cooling system (see. Head Current leaving and service).
  4. Merge impellent oil (see. Head Current leaving and service).
  5. Remove an air inlet and an air sleeve (see. Power supply systems, managements of engine/decrease in toxicity of the fulfilled gases and production of the fulfilled gases).
  6. Remove components of a drive of a butterfly valve (see. Power supply systems, managements of engine/decrease in toxicity of the fulfilled gases and production of the fulfilled gases).
  7. Remove the top and bottom hoses of a radiator of system of cooling (see. Head of System of cooling, heating, ventilation and air conditioning).
  8. Disconnect a reception pipe of system of production of the fulfilled gases (see. Power supply systems, managements of engine/decrease in toxicity of the fulfilled gases and production of the fulfilled gases).
  9. Disunite all electric sockets located in an impellent compartment: a starter, the generator, ignition coils, the To/in compressor coupling, fuel injectors, a lambda probe (ы) (depending on a complete set), the sensor of provision of a cranked shaft (models with AT, - on models from RKPP electroconducting is disconnected from the CKP sensor from under the car), the sensor of measurement of weight of air (MAF), the generator, the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve (TPS), the valve of a purge of a coal adsorber, the valve regulator of turns of idling (IAC), and so forth.
  10. Disconnect from the engine all vacuum hoses, including lines of strengthening of brakes and a drive of switching of stupichny couplings of forward wheels (at the corresponding complete set), and also hoses of okhladitelny and fuel paths (do not forget about a hose of branch of fuel evaporations on assembly of a coal adsorber).

Before a detachment of fuel hoses do not forget to dump pressure in a path of system of injection of fuel (see. Head of the Power supply system, management of engine/decrease in toxicity of the fulfilled gases and production of the fulfilled gases)!

  1. Remove a forward lattice (see. Head Body).
  2. On models of the corresponding complete set remove the To/in condenser fan, then actually the To/in condenser (see. Head of System of cooling, heating, ventilation and air conditioning).
  3. Remove a radiator of system of cooling (see. Head of System of cooling, heating, ventilation and air conditioning).
  1. On models of the corresponding complete set lift the receiver the К/В compressor.
  1. Remove belts of a drive of auxiliary units (see. Section Belts of a drive of auxiliary units).
  2. From under the car disconnect electroconducting of sensors of speed of movement (VSS) and CKP (model with RKPP), and also sensors switches of fires of a backing and the alarm indicator of activation of an all-wheel drive mode.
Location of sockets of electroconducting of VSS sensors (C), CKP (D) and sensors switches of fires of a backing (And) and the alarm indicator of activation of an all-wheel drive mode (In) - models with RKPP.

  1. Remove the sensor switch of the alarm indicator of a full drive.
  1. Remove a starter (see. Head of System of electric equipment of the engine).
  1. Prop up a basic beam of transmission / a transfer case a suitable jack, then turn out bolts of fastening RKPP/AT to the engine (see. Head Five-step manual box of gear shifting or Automatic transmission).
  1. Turn out bolts of fastening of a beam and omit transmission on a jack.
  2. Fix lifting slings in elevating eyes of the engine and hang out the last so that support of its suspension bracket appeared are completely unloaded.
  3. Turn out bolts of fastening of support and at the top carefully take the engine from a motor compartment of the car.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components. Track correctness of restoration initial connections of all lines of communication. Remember that all carving fixture should be tightened with demanded effort.
