Replacement of epiploons of a cranked shaft

This procedure is among those which performance does not demand removal of the engine from the car. |
Forward epiploon
|
|
Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
Turn out four fixing bolts and remove protection of a case of the engine.
Merge impellent oil (see. Head Current leaving and service).
Remove a belt of a drive of GRM (see. Head Current leaving and service).
Turn out a fixing bolt and remove from a cranked shaft a cogwheel of a drive of GRM, - in case of need use a stripper intended for dismantle of a steering wheel.
Take from a groove in a pin of a cranked shaft a segment shponka.
Having used a knife with a thin flexible edge, cut through a face surface of an epiploon.

Having hooked the wrapped-up soft rags a screw-driver, take an epiploon from the landing nest in the case of the oil pump (1).
|
Remove assembly of the oil pump (see. The section Removal, installation and service of the oil pump) and manually fill a new epiploon in a landing nest in its case.
|
|
By means of a press and a suitable opravka plant an epiploon in a nest aflush with a surface of the case of the pump, - rest an opravka only against a firm face surface of an epiploon.
|
Further installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components. Do not forget about need of observance of requirements of Specifications of Head the Engine to efforts of a tightening of carving fixture.
Fill in in the engine fresh engine oil.
Start the engine and check tightness of landing of an epiploon.
In summary check correctness of installation of a corner of an advancing of ignition (see. The head of System of electric equipment of the engine), in case of need make necessary corrections (correct landing of a belt of a drive of GRM, having tracked correctness of combination of adjusting labels, - see. Head Current leaving and service).

Back epiploon
|
|
Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
Hang out the car over the earth.
Remove transmission (see. Head Five-step manual box of gear shifting or Automatic transmission).
On models from RKPP remove coupling assembly (see. Head Transmission line).
By means of the special adaptation block a flywheel / a driving disk from a provorachivaniye (see
an illustration)
Turn out six fixing bolts and remove a flywheel / a driving disk.
Turn out six fixing bolts and remove a back cover of the engine.

Having hooked a suitable screw-driver, take an old epiploon from the landing nest.
|
Estimate a condition of a gear wreath of a flywheel / a driving disk and coupling components (model with RKPP). Replace defective components.
Slightly grease sealing edges of the NEW epiploon and a wall of a landing nest in a back cover of the engine with pure impellent oil.

Accurately fill an epiploon (1) in a nest of a cover (2).
|
|
|
By means of a press and a suitable opravka plant an epiploon in a nest aflush with a cover surface, - rest an opravka only against a firm face surface of an epiploon.
|
Establish into place a back cover and fix it bolts.
Establish a flywheel / a driving disk. Having greased a carving part previously the smoothed-out fixing bolts with hermetic, fix them a flywheel / a driving disk, having blocked it from a provorachivaniye by means of the special adaptation (see
an illustration), - bolts are tightened in three stages with strict observance of requirements of Specifications of Head the Engine.

The carving part of fixing bolts should be completely cleared of old hermetic, - if to achieve absolute cleaning it is not possible, it is necessary to replace the corresponding bolt. |
