Service of a head of cylinders and components of the gas-distributing mechanism

This procedure is among those which performance does not demand removal of the engine from the car.

Installation details, a design of a head of cylinders and the scheme of the organization of a drive of valves are shown also on an illustration of the Detail of installation of the inlet pipeline and a final collector.

Dismantle and service of components

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Execute necessary preparatory procedures (see in the Section of System of electric equipment of the engine).
  2. Remove a gas-distributing belt and components of a drive of GRM (see. Head Current leaving and service and Section Removal and installation of components of a drive of GRM).
  3. Previously having removed the thermofilter, turn out fixing bolts and separate a final collector from a head of cylinders and a reception pipe of system of production of the fulfilled gases.
  4. Turn out fixing bolts and separate from a head of cylinders assembly of the inlet pipeline.
  5. Turn out fixing bolts and uncover heads of cylinders and a forward cover.
  1. Operating strictly in a certain order, in two-three receptions release bolts of fastening of a head of cylinders. Finally turn out fixing bolts and remove a head, previously обстучав on joint perimeter with the block a hammer with soft the brisk. Remove sealing laying of a head.
  1. Examine a head on existence of traces of development of leaks, cracks, cavities in interfaced surfaces and other mechanical damages. With the help щупа lezviyny type and a planeness measuring instrument (the steel ruler put on an edge) estimate extent of deformation of cylinders interfaced to the block (see an illustration an illustration), the inlet pipeline and a final collector of surfaces of a head. Compare results of measurements to requirements of Specifications of Head the Engine. In case of need give a head to a pro-point (see. Specifications of Head the Engine), previously having checked also size of a zaglubleniye of klapanny saddles and working gaps in camshaft bearings.
  1. Operating strictly in a certain order, release bolts of fastening of covers of bearings of camshafts.
  1. Remove covers and take camshafts.
  1. Marking adjusting provisions, take from a head of cylinders hydropushers of valves, - at installation pushers should be established strictly on the former places (if need for their replacement is absent). Examine pushers on existence of signs of wear and mechanical damages, defective components replace. If at a szhimaniye pushers are displaced by section fingers from each other, the pusher also is subject to replacement.
  1. Carefully wipe beds of bearings in a head and covers, then lay camshafts on the regular places and measure their sizes axial люфтов.
  1. By means of Plastigage set serially define sizes of working gaps in camshaft bearings, - track correctness of an arrangement of covers and observance of requirements of Specifications of Head the Engine to efforts of a tightening of their fixture.

The tightening of bolts should be made as it should be, the return to an order of their otpuskaniye.

  1. Compare results of the made measurements to requirements of Specifications of Head the Engine, in case of need replace a shaft and/or a head.
  2. By means of special adaptations compress a spring of the first valve (see an illustration) and take from a flute on its core crackers of the cutting lock. Dismantle adaptations and take a spring with plates and the valve. Operating in a similar manner, remove components of the remained valves.
  3. By means of special nippers remove maslootrazhatelny caps of directing plugs of valves (see an illustration).

Cap capture by nippers is possible only after extraction of the bottom plate of a klapanny spring.

  1. Estimate a condition of the valves removed from the engine. In case of identification of signs of wear, deformations and other mechanical damages of plates or cores replace defective components.

Insignificant teases can be removed from surfaces of cores by means of a grinding stone.

  1. Make check of geometrical parameters of valves, - measure length of each valve from the flat party of a plate to a cut of a face part of a core, also measure thickness of a cylindrical part (corbel) of a plate. Compare results of measurements to requirements of Specifications of Head the Engine, defective valves replace.

Measurement of length of the valve.

From this point each valve should be unequivocally adhered to the saddle, - this fact should be taken into consideration at assembly.
  2. By size of a vystupaniye of cores of valves over a surface of a head determine depth of landing of saddles. The nominal rate makes 36.36 ÷ 37.27 mm. If the result of measurement lies within a range of 37.27 ÷ 37.97 mm, enclose under the bottom plate of the corresponding klapanny spring an equivalent washer. If depth of landing of the valve exceeds value of 37.97 mm, it is necessary to replace a head of cylinders.
  1. By means of a micrometer measure diameters of cores of valves at three levels. Results of measurements write down.
  1. By means of a nutromer define internal diameters of directing plugs of valves.
  1. By subtraction of the maximum results of the first series of measurements from the corresponding results of the second series define size люфтов landings of valves in directing plugs. Compare results of calculations to requirements of Specifications of Head the Engine, in case of need replace directing plugs.
  1. Measure sizes of a vystupaniye of directing plugs over a head surface. Compare results of measurements to requirements of Specifications of Head the Engine, in case of need make replacement of plugs.
  1. In case of need, having slowly warmed up a head to temperature 90°С, by means of the special adaptation, operating from combustion chambers, beat out directing plugs from the landing nests in a head.
  1. Prepare replaceable plugs, - pay attention to distinctions in a design of directing plugs of inlet and final valves.
  1. Again having warmed up a head to temperature 90°С, press new directing plugs in reception nests on demanded depth.
  2. Having finished installation of new directing plugs, repeat measurement люфтов landings in them the corresponding valves.

Installation of maslootrazhatelny caps should be made after completion of adjustment of valves.

  1. Attentively study a condition of klapanny springs, - in case of identification of chips, cracks and other mechanical damages replace defective components.
  2. Measure free length of springs, estimate extent of violation of a tortsovka (see illustrations), - at excess by result of any of measurements of limiting admissible value (see. Specifications of Head the Engine) replace the corresponding spring (ы).
  1. Make measurement of height of cams of a camshaft, - if the result any makes of measurements less than the Head stipulated in Specifications the Engine of limiting admissible value, it is necessary to replace a shaft.
  1. Measure diameters of bearing necks, check them on existence and ovality (see an illustration). Compare results of measurements to requirements of Specifications of Head the Engine, in case of need replace a shaft.
  2. Lay a shaft in prisms and by means of a measuring instrument of DTI check it on bend existence (see an illustration). If the result of measurement exceeds limiting admissible value, replace a shaft.
  3. Carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces of a head and the block of cylinders, clean carving openings. Measure length of bolts of fastening of a head, compare results of measurements to requirements of Specifications of Head the Engine, the extended bolts replace.
  4. Assembly is made as it should be the return to an order of dismantle of components (see also Section Service of a head of cylinders and components of the gas-distributing mechanism). When laying in a head of camshafts track, that they were developed by adjusting pins of cogwheels up. Remember that klapanny components at assembly should be established strictly on the former places. Do not forget to replace epiploons, sealing laying of surfaces of interface of a head with the block, a final collector and the inlet pipeline and other sealing elements (including a sealing ring of the sensor of provision of a camshaft). The tightening of bolts of fastening of a head is made in two-three receptions as it should be, the return to 80 ÷ 86 Nanometer shown with final effort, - before a vvorachivaniye grease a carving part and the bottom party of heads of bolts with pure impellent oil. Before installation of a cover of a head of cylinders put on the shaded sites of a surface of a head hermetic, - the nominal effort of a tightening of bolts of a cover makes 4 ÷ 6 Nanometers.
