Power supply system checks
Preliminary checks
|
Check a condition of the storage battery (see. Heads Current leaving and service and Systems of electric equipment of the engine).
Check a condition of all safety locks (see. Head Onboard electric equipment).
Disunite and again join all sockets of the relevant electronic systems. Check reliability of fixing of sockets and electroconducting plaits in an impellent compartment.
Check reliability of fastening of all connections of weight.
Visually estimate a condition of hoses and pipelines of a working path of a power supply system, special attention giving to identification of cracks and other mechanical damages.
Replace defective components, tighten weakened shtutserny sockets.

System checks
Check of tightness of a fuel path
Check of working pressure in a fuel path
|
Before switching off of ignition consider the manometer indication. If the result of measurement makes less than 292.5 kPas, make the following checks:
Check of a pressure developed by the fuel pump;
Check of passableness of fuel lines;
Check of passableness of the filter of thin cleaning;
Check of tightness of a regulator of pressure;
Check of tightness of injectors.

|
The order of performance of procedure is similar described above for check of tightness of a fuel path with that only a difference that the hose directly behind the union of connection of a manometer is necessary for pressing at installation of the last.
The size of the pressure kept in the cut part of a fuel path within 5 minutes, should make 340 kPas. At negative result of measurement replace assembly of the fuel pump. Do not forget to take a crossing point from the DLC socket.

Check of a developed pressure

The order of performance of procedure is similar described above for check of tightness of the locking valve of pump assembly with that only a difference that reading of indications of a manometer is made at the included ignition.

Checks of the relay of the fuel pump
Check of serviceability of functioning

At inclusion of ignition of the relay should publish distinctly heard click.
|
|
Conductivity check
|
Take the relay (see. Head Onboard electric equipment).
|
Submit tension in 12 In on relay No. No. 2 and 4 plugs, - between No. No. 5 and 1/3 plugs conductivity should take place. At food removal conductivity should be absent.

Checks of a regulator of pressure
Check of serviceability of functioning
|
Start the engine on single turns and consider the measuring instrument indication, - demanded value makes 235 kPas.
Disconnect the vacuum hose going from a regulator of pressure and repeat measurement, - demanded value makes 292.5 kPas.
Faulty regulator replace (see. Section Removal and installation of a regulator of pressure of fuel). Do not forget to take a crossing point from the DLC socket.

Check on tightness
Check of injectors
|
Violation of tightness of valves of fuel injectors is interfaced to difficulties at start of the hot engine. Damage of injectors can be at the bottom of emergence a diesel engine effect when the engine continues to work at the switched-off ignition. |
Check of serviceability of functioning
|
Make sure of reliability of fixing of injectors in the fuel highway excluding probability of their shift during performance of check.
Start the engine on single turns and warm up to normal working temperature.
Without suppressing the engine, by means of a stethoscope make sure of serviceability of functioning of each separate injector, - existence of clicks indicates serviceability of opening and closing of valves.

In the absence of near at hand stethoscope check can be made to the touch by means of a screw-driver or a finger. |
If any of injectors does not publish any sounds, it is necessary to make sure of serviceability of giving on it of a food and to measure electric resistance.

Check of serviceability of giving of a food
|
Visually estimate a condition of the electroconducting brought to injectors, then make sure available supply voltages on No. No. 16, 17, 34 and 35 plugs of the contact ECM socket.
Faulty injectors replace (see. Section Removal and installation of fuel injectors).

Check on tightness
Check of volume of injection
|
|
Get on an injector nozzle a piece of a hose of the suitable diameter which second end lower in measured capacity, connect to the storage battery a special tester (SST) and an injector subject to check. The serviceable injector should provide an expense of 130 cm3/minutes.
|
Replace faulty injectors (see. The section Removal and installation of fuel injectors), - do not forget to replace sealing rings and to grease them before installation by pure impellent oil.
|
|
Check of electric resistance
|
Disconnect from a subject to injector checking electroconducting.
|
By means of an ohmmeter measure resistance between contact plugs of an injector. The demanded result makes 12 ÷ 16 Ohm at temperature 20 ° Page.
|
In case of need replace an injector.
|
|
Checks of the valve of stabilization of turns of idling (IAC)
Check of serviceability of functioning
|
Start the engine and warm up it to normal working temperature.
|
Disunite the socket of electroconducting of the IAC valve, - the distinct click, being accompanied by increase of turns of the engine approximately to 1000 in a minute should be distributed. If turns of the engine do not change, it is necessary to check resistance of a winding of the valve.
|
|
|
Resistance check
|
Make sure that ignition is switched off and disunite the valve socket.
|
By means of an ohmmeter measure resistance between contact plugs of the socket, - at temperature 20°С resistance between No. No. 1 and 2 plugs should make 18.5 ÷ 20.1 Ohm, between No. No. 1 and 3 plugs - 35.3 ÷ 36.9 Ohm and between plugs 2 and 3 - 16.0 ÷ 17.6 Ohm.

The faulty valve replace (see. Section Removal and installation of components of an inlet air path).

Check of the sensor of provision of butterfly valves (TPS)
Check of serviceability of functioning
|
|
Disconnect from TPS electroconducting and connect between No. No. 2 and 3 plugs of the socket of the sensor an ohmmeter.
|
Make sure of linearity of the schedule of dependence of resistance of the sensor from the provision of butterfly valves. At completely closed throttle resistance of TPS should make about 1 kiloohm, at completely open - about 2.4 kiloohms.
The faulty sensor is subject to replacement, - do not forget to check according to the same scheme replaceable TPS.

Tension check
|
Make sure that butterfly valves are in completely closed position.
Include ignition.
Connect the voltmeter between plugs No. 1 and No. 2 sockets of the sensor.
Make sure of linearity of the schedule of dependence of indications of the voltmeter from the provision of butterfly valves. At completely closed throttle the result of measurement should make 0.5 In, at completely open - 4.1 Century.

Check of the sensor of measurement of weight of air (MAF)
|
Warm up the engine to normal working temperature and leave it to work at single turns.
|
Connect the voltmeter between weight and the plug No. 4 (a red and green wire) socket of the sensor and consider its indication, - demanded value makes 0.8 ÷ 1.2 Century.
|
Lift engine turns, - the indication of the voltmeter should change, having risen to value of 3.5 ÷ 4 Century.
The faulty sensor is subject to replacement.
|
|
Check of the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid (ECT)
|
|
The ECT sensor is located near the thermostat, - disconnect from the sensor electroconducting.
|
Remove the ECT sensor and lower it in a vessel with water.
|
By means of an ohmmeter measure resistance between contact plugs of the socket of the sensor. Demanded value makes 2.45 ± 0.24 kiloohms at temperature 20 ° With and 0.322 ± 0.032 kiloohms at temperature 80 ° Page.
|
The faulty sensor is subject to replacement.
Installation is made upside-down, - do not forget to replace a sealing washer, track, that the sensor was tightened with demanded effort (25 ÷ 29 Nanometer).
In summary start the engine and check it on existence of signs of development of leakages of cooling liquid.

Check of the sensor of temperature of soaked-up air (IAT)
|
Switch off ignition.
Disconnect from the IAT sensor electroconducting and by means of an ohmmeter measure resistance between plugs No. 1 and No. 2 sockets of the sensor, - demanded value makes 2.21 ÷ 2.69 kiloohms at temperature 20 ° Page.
The faulty sensor replace, - do not forget to establish a sealing washer, track reliability of a zashchelkivaniye of a clamp.

Check of the main relay
|
Uncover the impellent compartment of the main assembly block of safety locks located in the right part (see. Head Onboard electric equipment).
|
Having pressed a finger to the main relay, make sure that it regularly clicks at ignition inclusion, - use the help of the assistant. The relay should click as well at ignition switching off.
|
Take the relay from the landing nest and submit tension of the battery between plugs No. 86 (+) and 85 (-) the relay. Make sure available conductivity between No. No. 03 and 87 plugs, - at food shutdown conductivity should be absent.
The faulty relay is subject to replacement. Track reliability of a zashchelkivaniye of a cover of the assembly block.
