Check of serviceability of functioning of the PCV valve (petrol models)

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Cock the parking brake, start the engine, warm up it to normal working temperature and leave working at single turns. Disconnect the PCV valve by a detachment of a ventilating hose from a cover of a head of cylinders.
    Having pressed a finger to an entrance opening of a hose, make sure of presence of depression at it.
    Remove the valve and blow in an entrance opening of bigger diameter, - air should pass freely, then blow in an entrance opening of smaller diameter, - air to be passed through the valve should not.
    The defective valve is subject to replacement, - track correctness of connection of the valve at installation.
