Check of a condition and replacement of a belt of a drive of GRM

Do not turn the engine for camshafts and other cogwheels of a drive of GRM! If the opposite is not stipulated especially, the provorachivaniye of the engine should be made only in the normal direction! Do not turn cranked/distributive shaft at the removed belt of a drive of GRM! Remember need of observance of purity, - dirt or greasing hit on a new gas-distributing belt is not admissible at all! Do not braid a new belt and do not bend it under acute angles! At installation of the belt which was in the use track, that the direction of its rotation remained the same! |
All models
Replacement of a belt of a drive of GRM should be made not less often than the routine maintenance of the car of term specified in Graphics (see. Undressed the Schedule of routine maintenance), and also in case of identification of signs of excessive wear and detection of mechanical damages, - at survey do not overwind a tape of a belt and do not bend it under acute angles.

Cock the parking brake and disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

Petrol models
Details of installation of a belt of a drive of GRM of the petrol engine
Removal
|
|
For the purpose of simplification of a provorachivaniye of a cranked shaft turn out spark plugs.
Empty cooling system (see. Section Check of level of working liquids).
Remove belts of a drive of auxiliary units (see. Head Engine).
Remove the fan of system of cooling with a basic arm (see. Head of System of cooling, heating, ventilation and air conditioning).
Remove a thermostat (1) casing.
Turn out a fixing bolt (2) and remove a pulley (3) cranked shaft.
Remove top (4) and the bottom (5) covers of a drive of GRM.
Having turned a cranked shaft in the normal direction, bring the piston of the first cylinder into the provision VMT of the end of a step of compression, - track correctness of provision of adjusting labels (6 and 7).
Remove directing washer (8) a cogwheel of a cranked shaft.
Weaken a bolt (9), take away a tension roller from a belt tape, then again slightly tighten a bolt.
Remove a gear belt of a drive of GRM.
Estimate a condition of tension and intermediate rollers. Defective components replace.

Installation
|
|
Make sure of correctness of provision of adjusting labels (6 and 7).
Since a cogwheel of a camshaft and moving in the direction counter-clockwise, get a new belt on the regular place, - track density of landing of a belt on cogwheels.
Release a bolt (9) tension rollers and turn a cranked shaft on two complete revolutions in the direction clockwise, - make sure that adjusting labels (6 and 7) occupied the correct provisions, otherwise repeat procedure of a tension of a belt.
Turn a cranked shaft in the direction clockwise so that «S» label on a cogwheel of a final camshaft was combined with risky (10).
Tighten a bolt (9) tension rollers with demanded effort (37 ÷ 52 Nanometer).
Press the top shoulder of a belt (shooter) with effort about 10 kgfs, - the size of a deflection of a tape should make 7.5 ÷ 8.5 mm.
Further installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components. The effort of a tightening of bolts (2) pulleys of a cranked shaft makes 12 ÷ 17 Nanometers.
In summary do not forget to fill cooling system (see. Section Check of level of working liquids).

Removal

Empty cooling system (see. Section Check of level of working liquids).
Order of removal of a belt of a drive of GRM make dismantle of components according to the given numbering.

Remove components of a natyazhitel and estimate their condition. Check serviceability and noiselessness of rotation of a roller, make sure of lack of symptoms of weakening/stretching of a spring. Defective components replace.
|
|
|
Do not wash out assembly of a natyazhitel any solvents. In case of need wipe the polluted surfaces soft rags. |
Make sure of lack of signs of excessive wear and mechanical damages of cogwheels of a drive of GRM. Defective components replace.

Installation
|
|
|
|
Achieve the correct arrangement of adjusting labels of cogwheels cranked and camshafts.
|
|
|
Establish a natyazhitel, his lock bolt and a spring in the situation corresponding to the minimum effort of a tension of a belt. Take away a natyazhitel against the stop to the left and, having tightened a lock bolt, temporarily fix it in this situation.
|
Plant a belt on cogwheels, then release a lock bolt of a natyazhitel, having allowed a spring to press densely a roller to the smooth party of a tape of a belt.
Turn a cranked shaft in the NORMAL direction (clockwise) for the purpose of alignment of effort of a tension of a belt twice. Tighten a lock bolt of a natyazhitel with demanded effort (31.4 ÷ 46.1 Nanometer).

Make sure of correctness of combination of adjusting labels of cogwheels cranked / camshafts and TNVD drive, then check correctness of a tension of a belt, having pressed a lateral shoulder of a belt with effort about 10 kgfs, - the size of a deflection of a tape should make 10.8 ÷ 12.9 mm.

Further installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components - track correctness of landing of rubber sealing elements of covers of a drive of GRM. Remember need of observance of requirements of Specifications of Head the Current leaving and service to efforts of a tightening of carving fixture.
In summary make filling of system of cooling (see. Section Check of level of working liquids).
